Soli Deo Gloria

Terms of Service

Effective and last updated: 7 November 2026

These terms govern your use of Crosspost, operated by Soli Deo Gloria ("we", "us" or "our"). Please read them before creating an account, connecting a platform or submitting content. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the service.

1. The service

Crosspost lets you prepare photos and captions, choose social destinations, and request immediate or scheduled publishing. Some platforms receive posts directly; other destinations use webhook receivers that you configure. Features depend on available connections and the destination platform's requirements.

2. Your account and authorization

  • Provide accurate account and connection information, and keep your sign-in details, access tokens and webhook credentials private.
  • Only connect accounts, Pages and receivers that you own or have permission to manage. If acting for an organisation or another person, you must have their authority.
  • Meet the eligibility and account requirements of each platform you use.
  • Contact us if you suspect unauthorized access, and revoke affected credentials through the relevant provider where appropriate.

Submitting a post instructs Crosspost to send the selected content to your chosen destinations using the authorization you provide.

3. Your content

You retain any ownership rights you have in your photos, captions and other submitted content. You must have the rights and permissions needed to upload, store and publish it, including permissions relating to people shown in photos.

By submitting content, you authorize the processing needed to provide your requested workflow, including storing the content, making it available to the selected platform or receiver, and publishing it as instructed. These terms do not transfer ownership of your content to Soli Deo Gloria.

You are responsible for reviewing the caption, images, selected accounts, tagging IDs and schedule before submitting a post.

4. Acceptable use

Use Crosspost lawfully and in accordance with the rules of your connected platforms. Do not use it to:

  • Publish unlawful content or infringe intellectual-property, privacy or other rights.
  • Impersonate others, misrepresent your authority, or use accounts without permission.
  • Send spam, conduct scams, distribute malicious content, or harass others.
  • Bypass access controls, obtain another user's information, or interfere with the service.
  • Circumvent platform permissions, publishing restrictions or security requirements.

5. Publishing and scheduling limitations

A request to publish is not a guarantee that a post will appear or that it will appear at an exact time. Delivery can fail or be delayed because of expired credentials, platform restrictions, network problems, receiver behaviour or service availability.

A webhook receiver accepting a request confirms delivery acceptance, not proof that the destination platform published it. Check delivery records and the destination account to confirm the outcome. Review the destination before retrying an uncertain delivery to reduce the risk of duplicate posts.

Eligible scheduled posts can be edited or cancelled before delivery through Crosspost. Removing local records or disconnecting an account does not retract content already sent or published. Manage published content through the destination platform or contact the webhook receiver.

6. Third-party platforms and receivers

Facebook, Instagram, Threads and other connected services are operated independently of Soli Deo Gloria. Their own terms, privacy policies, permissions and content rules apply. A connection in Crosspost does not mean a platform has endorsed Crosspost or approved your content.

Only configure webhook receivers you trust. They receive the posting information and authentication needed for your configured workflow and may use their own downstream services. Changes to third-party services can affect the availability or behaviour of a connection.

7. Privacy and ending use

Our Privacy Policy explains the information handled by Crosspost and how to contact us about access, correction or deletion.

You can stop using Crosspost and remove your connections. Disconnecting in the app does not necessarily revoke access at the provider or delete your account, photos, post history or delivery records. For account or data-deletion requests, follow the instructions in the Privacy Policy or email info@soli-deo-gloria.co.za. Do not send passwords or access tokens by email.

8. Changes and applicable rights

We may update the service and these terms as features or platform requirements change. Updated terms will be posted on this page with a revised date. Contact us if you have questions about a change before continuing to use the service.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any rights or protections that applicable law does not allow to be excluded or limited. If you have a concern about the service, please contact Soli Deo Gloria using the details below.
