Soli Deo Gloria

Privacy Policy

Effective and last updated: 7 November 2026

Crosspost is operated by Soli Deo Gloria ("we", "us" or "our"). This policy describes the personal information handled when you visit Crosspost, create an account, connect social platforms, or prepare and publish posts.

1. Information we collect

  • Account information: your email address, account identifier and authentication information needed to create and access your Crosspost account.
  • Content you provide: uploaded photos, captions, selected platforms, posting schedules, social-page descriptions and URLs, and Facebook Page IDs used for tagging.
  • Connected platform information: the account or Page identifier, display name, profile or Page URL, access tokens and token expiry information supplied by you or returned by an authorized platform connection.
  • Webhook settings: the receiver URL, header name and authentication token you provide for a webhook integration.
  • Operational records: post identifiers, delivery status, timestamps, platform response summaries and error information used to track and troubleshoot publishing.
  • Technical and contact information: requests to the service can include IP addresses, browser and device information and error records; if you contact us, we receive the information you include in your message.

2. How information is used

We use information to provide account access; identify the destinations you connect; store and prepare your content; publish or schedule posts you request; display delivery results; diagnose service problems; and respond to support, privacy and deletion requests.

Connecting a platform and submitting content instructs Crosspost to use the relevant account information and authorization for that posting workflow. You can remove a connection or contact us about further processing as described below.

3. Facebook, Instagram and Threads data

Each platform is connected independently. Facebook publishing uses the Page ID and Page access token you supply. Instagram and Threads connections use the account information and authorization returned through their separate connection processes. Access depends on the permissions you grant and the platform's rules.

Crosspost uses this information to identify your authorized destination and send the photos and caption you choose to publish. For Facebook, a tagging Page ID saved with a selected Social Page may be appended to the outgoing caption. The tagging Page ID is distinct from the Page that receives the post.

Published content is subject to the destination platform's audience settings and policies. This policy covers Soli Deo Gloria's handling of data in Crosspost, not Meta's independent handling of information. See the Meta Privacy Policy, the Instagram Privacy Policy and the Threads Supplemental Privacy Policy.

4. Where information is sent

Content and the authorization needed to publish it are sent to the platforms you select. Crosspost uses hosting, account-access and storage services, including Lovable Cloud, to operate the application.

For webhook-based platforms, the receiver you configure receives the posting payload, which can include your caption, photo links, post identifier, schedule and selected social-page information. The receiver also receives the configured authentication header. Current webhook receivers may be your Grok bots. Their downstream services and data practices are separate from Crosspost; only configure receivers you trust.

Photos may be made available through temporary links so a platform or webhook receiver can retrieve them. Information processed by platforms, receivers or hosting services may be handled outside your country.

5. Storage and retention

Crosspost stores account information, uploaded content, posts, social-page records, connection settings and delivery records to support your posting history and scheduled publishing. These records do not all have an automatic deletion date.

Removing a connection is not the same as deleting your Crosspost account, uploaded photos, posts or delivery history. Removing a Social Page does not erase the destination snapshot already saved with a post. See the deletion instructions below for broader requests. Retention and deletion of information already received by a third party are governed by that party's own policies.

6. Browser storage

Crosspost uses browser storage and session information to maintain sign-in and account access. Signing out ends access through that session. Blocking or clearing this storage may require you to sign in again.

7. Data deletion and your choices

You can disconnect a social account or remove a webhook in Connections. You can also remove Social Page records and cancel eligible scheduled posts using the app. Disconnecting in Crosspost does not necessarily revoke authorization at the platform; you can also remove the app's access in the relevant Facebook, Instagram or Threads settings.

To request deletion of your Crosspost account, associated personal information, or data received from Facebook, Instagram or Threads, email info@soli-deo-gloria.co.za with the subject Crosspost data deletion request.

  • Send the request from your Crosspost account email where possible.
  • Identify the connected platform and account or Page ID, if relevant, and whether you want all account data or specific data deleted.
  • Do not include passwords, access tokens or webhook keys.

Soli Deo Gloria is the contact for reviewing and handling these requests. We may ask for information needed to verify that the request concerns your account. Deletion requests are handled by contacting us, not by an automatic deletion callback. Contact us through the same email for the status of a request or any applicable retention limitations.

Deleting data in Crosspost does not remove content already published on a social platform or already delivered to a webhook receiver. Remove that content through the platform or contact the receiver separately. You may also contact us to request access to or correction of your information, or raise an objection or concern about its use. Your rights depend on the law applicable to your circumstances.

8. Changes to this policy

Changes to this policy will be posted on this page with an updated date. Please contact us if you have questions about a change or how it affects your information.
